Alfa Capital checking actions of analyst Gavrilov over newsletter
MOSCOW, Aug 22 (PRIME) -- Alfa Capital, part of Alfa-Bank Group, is conducting an internal audit of actions by employee Sergei Gavrilov, who sent a letter on problems in four country’s key banks last week, a spokesperson for the company told PRIME on Tuesday.
“Concerning employee Gavrilov, a thorough internal analysis of whether his activities were compliant with corporate procedures and standards, and also with professional competences is being held. All decisions will be made after completion of the required internal procedures,” the person said.
Last week, Alfa Capital warned its clients about problems at Otkritie Financial Corporation (FC) Bank, B&N Bank, Credit Bank of Moscow and Promsvyazbank.
On Monday, the company withdrew the letter, the Federal Antimonopoly Service warned Alfa Capital of unfair competition.
